The location hidden in the residential area is a bit inconspicuous. As soon as you enter the door, you will find the old floor fireplace and hand-painted ceramic wall lights. It seems that you have passed the feeling of an old house in the Paris block of the movie in a second. The taste can be regarded as a delicious level in Sydney&#39;s Fine dining. So glad we came across this amazing little Italian restaurant. We enjoyed the gnocchi (my Italian friend thought it was better than her mums!) and penne alla vodka (best version I&#39;ve ever had!). Service was lovely - the owner even walked us out to fetch us a cab. Wish I lived in Sydney - I&#39;d eat here all the time!

When Memmo named his restaurant he may have had the ability to see into the future because this particular Barrel of Gold has been one of the great success stories of Leichhardt (in fact Sydney) restaurants.
